If you want to see something out of the ordinary, head down to Pakenham Oaks-Chalmette Battlefield in St. Bernard Parish on January 8th. Full period dress players with real date accurate weapons reenact the Battle of New Orleans that happened there back in 1815. The Sound Source has been happy to provide audio for the event for the past several years and we are looking forward to several more years. If you are in the area in early January you should check this one out.
