New Orleans is known as one of the most culturally rich destinations in America. Once a year, this city steeped in art, history and music, plays host to Ochsner Ironman 70.3 New Orleans. Athletes travel from all over to take part in this unique event and scenic course, which flows throughout this fascinating area.
On April 22, athletes will begin their day on the shores of Lake Pontchartrain, swimming 1.2 miles, point-to-point along the Lakeshore Drive seawall. The journey continues with the 56-mile, out-and-back bike course, followed by a 13.1-mile run along the lakefront. Competitors will finish on the campus of the University of New Orleans Research and Technology Park to the sound of live music featuring the Bucktown All Stars. The Sound Source is proud to be a part of this event and as always we Love Dem All Stars!
