The annual “Uncle Sam Jam” is July 3 at Lafreniere Park, 3000 Downs Blvd., Metairie. There will be food and refreshments as well as live music. From 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., Ghost Town will perform, and from 7 to 9 p.m. the New Orleans Concert Band will perform. The Sound Source will be providing Sound and Lighting for the event.
